Homemade Furniture Polish Recipe

An inexpensive brand of olive oil works perfectly well for this homemade furniture polish recipe.

 

Ingredients:

250ml olive oil

100ml lemon juice

 

Method:

Pour both ingredients into a trigger spray bottle and shake well.

Before each use, shake the bottle well then spray directly onto the surface you want to polish. Buff with a clean, dry cloth and allow to air dry.

Homemade Stainless Steel Cleaner Recipe

The smell of this homemade stainless steel cleaner doesn’t get stuck in the back of your throat like many shop versions do, and it really does an amazing job too!

 

Ingredients:

100ml distilled vinegar

2tbsp bicarbonate of soda

400ml warm water

 

Method:

Pour ingredients into a 500ml trigger spray bottle.

Shake up until frothy. Spray onto surfaces and wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Microfibre cloths are extremely good. 

Homemade Oven Cleaner Recipe

This might seem way too simple a recipe to be effective but trust us, it is!

 

Ingredients: 

Bicarbonate of soda

Water

 

Method:

Mix together enough bicarbonate of soda with water to make a thick paste.

Coat your oven generously with the paste and leave for at least an hour.

Use an old toothbrush to scrub off.

Once you’ve removed the paste give the oven a final clean with hot, soapy water.
