Again, ask yourself if you can use your mobile phone internet package as a mifi point for your internet access? Is it worth effectively paying out twice for your internet access when once might do the job? If you do need separate broadband for your home, when was the last time you checked to make sure you have the best deal going?

It is easy to fall into the trap of not checking contract end dates, or of allowing direct debit bill payments to continue with the same providers for years.

This complacency can result in the loss of hundreds of pounds from your pocket. Get into the habit of checking deals regularly and keeping track of when your current contracts expire, allowing you time to research and prepare for their renewal. A little time invested beforehand could mean a lot of money saved after!
